Bio Minako lives with her Mother and Father who, while unsure how to accept that their daughter is a witch, have moved to a simple little suburban home in London so that they could be closer. Neither of them have any magical abilities, but when the letter from Hogwarts was recieved they agreed it was the best for their daughter to let her go. She's rather average in her abilities, except when it comes to Charms and athletics. Charms is really the only class she's any good at. When she is at home, she finds great joy in practicing gymnastics. One day, while at one of her many practice sessions, while in the process of landing off the vertical bar, she happened to land on a poor little cat. Though unhurt she felt the need to take the little guy home for a bit of milk and tuna, as a way of saying sorry. Ever since, the cat has never left her side and she often calls him 'Artemis' after the crescent shaped mark on his forhead. Without any siblings, Minako can be found most often talking to her cat even though he most certainly doesn't seem to talk back. She has had a rather normal suburban life, but has not ended up spoiled because of it. She will not allow anyone to be bullied and as such will normally get herself in trouble, or called 'unladylike' because of it.
When she was younger, she had a huge crush on an upperclassman who had told her that she had beautiful hair, and he wished that she's wear a big red bow in it to pull it back. Ever since then, the giant, oftentimes gaudy, giant red bow has become a bit of a trademark for her. The only other constant to her wardrobe is a silver chain bracelet. The charm is infact magically enhanced to let her understand what Artemis is saying when he meows at her, bought for a rather hefty fee from a jeweler in Diagon Alley.
